Project type groups

The vault defines several different groups of project definitions that can be used to modify asset documents. Each group contains one or more project definitions. All projects reside in the Projects branch of the vault folder structure.

The project type groups that have been defined in the vault are described in the following table.

Project type groups
Name	Project Definitions	Description
Design Projects	Capital Project Rekit Small Project	Projects that can handle all work before and after construction. Documents that are assigned to projects in this group can be forced to be moved to projects created from project definitions in the As-Built Projects group before they can be released as master documents.
As-Built Projects	Maintenance Project Document Update	Projects that typically deal with post-construction documentation. The vault can be configured so that documents can only be assigned to projects created from project definitions in the Design Projects group from the Masters branch of the vault and cannot be modified in a projects created from project definitions in this group.
Contractor Jobs	Contractor Job	Sub-projects within projects created from project definitions in the the Design Projects or As-Built Projects groups.

Design Projects and Contractor Jobs are both optional but require the Meridian Advanced Project Workflow Module.
